OVERVIEW
Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center
is an expansive, four-star hotel and convention center located in Nashville, Tennessee, known for its nine acres of indoor atriums featuring lush gardens, waterfalls, and an indoor river.
- Dining & Shopping: The hotel features numerous restaurants and bars offering diverse cuisine, from Italian to Mexican, as well as various shops and boutiques.
- Attractions: The resort is home to the SoundWaves upscale indoor/outdoor water attraction (surcharge applies), indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a spa, and a golf course.
- Activities: Guests can enjoy unique experiences like indoor flatboat rides on the Delta River, walking through the extensive indoor gardens, and seasonal events and decorations.

ITINERARY
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 12
After an early start this morning, we head for the Music City. Along the way, we will stop for Breakfast, have one rest stop and stop for lunch. We arrive in downtown Nashville around mid-day. You will be on you own to stroll around the streets of downtown Nashville including Broadway, the famous hub of Country Music Activity or see the Historic Ryman Theater. Also, with your ticket purchase you could visit the famous Country Music Hall of Fame if you wish. Dinner is then included at Paula Dean's, the very popular Nashville restaurant. It's back to the Hotel after dinner where we will check in to the fabulous Gaylord Opryland Resort and Hotel. You will have time to stroll around and explore the many sights The Resort has to offer.
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 13
After breakfast on your own at a nearby restaurant or at the Resort, we travel to the Grand Ole Opry House to enjoy the popular Back Stage Pass where you will take a guided tour to see the dressing rooms, hear stories and walk in the Country star's footsteps where they relax and prepare to go on stage.
You will then be on your own for lunch at the nearby Opry Mills Mall.
We will head back to the Resort right after lunch where you will have all afternoon to enjoy the sights and activities including tickets for the fabulous ICE! Exhibit and the Delta River Flatboats at the Resort and have dinner on your own at one of the many restaurants there. Around 6:00, we will head down to the Opry House with tickets to the Opry Christmas Show. If you should want to go to the Opry Mills Mall early to have dinner or shop, you could catch one of the shuttles provided by the hotel. You could then go on to the Opry Christmas Show from there.
MONDAY, DECEMBER 14
After breakfast, you will have some extra time to enjoy the resort sights one more time before we check out and head for home with hopefully a lot of great memories!
NOTES
- Nashville is in the central time zone, so we will gain an hour on the way there and lose an hour on the way back.

If you would like to join us for this trip, please do the following:
go to "contact" page, fill out the form with the info needed and send. You could also let me know via email: (kenny@wardtrips.com), by text or phone call (828-387-0463). I need to get all your information (names, cell numbers and pertinent email addresses of all in your group. Also, for a large group I need to know whom will room with whom). Once you submit this info, I will put your names on the trip list. (see next section for confirming seats)

A $100 deposit per person is required to secure your seat. The first 52 deposits will get the seats for a full bus. After that, you'll be placed on the waitlist. If there are dropouts and no extra bus is added, you likely will still get in, but there’s no guarantee. The deposit is nonrefundable unless someone else takes your spot, in which case you'll get a full refund.
Note: There will be no specific deposit due date yet. If need be, I will announce one well ahead of time. For this trip I need to order tickets and reservations early, so I need to have a good idea on the number of confirmed passengers.

Final payment refund policy: FINAL PAYMENT DUE BY November 5, 2026. There are no refunds after November 5 unless we have someone to take your seats. If we could do this, you would then be in line for a full refund. Also, if you wish to pay in installments, that would be fine. You can send any amount you wish monthly or any period you choose. Each time I receive a payment from you, I will email you to give you an updated balance.
